About Us

What Is BCM?

The BCM is a recognized student organization on the campuses of Lee Universtiy and Cleveland State.  Our building is located across the street from Cleveland State.  It’s the big brown one built in the 1970’s – you can’t miss it!  We’re a group of college students interested in following Jesus , building community and changing the world.

Do I Have To Be Baptist?

No, crazy.  Of course you don’t have to be Baptist.  While BCM stands for Baptist Collegiate Ministry, our group is made up of students from all denominations.  You’ll feel welcome here no matter what background you may come from.

What Kind Of Stuff Does BCM Do?

BCM students gather each week for a bunch of different reasons – Bible Study, Community Building, Service Opportunities, Missions and More…   You can keep up with everything we do here and on our facebook page.

What Happens at the BCM Building?

The BCM is open every day during the school semester from 8:30-4:30.  We have lots of hang out space, free wi-fi, kitchen, t.v.’s, study spaces and a quiet prayer room.  Most days you’ll see students hanging out playing spike ball and other games…and sometimes studying for classes.

What Are Some Ways I Can Get Plugged In?

Just show up!  We have Monday Night Bible Study every Monday night during the semester at 7:30.  It’s a time of intimate worship, Bible teaching and small group discussion.  Every Thursday we have a FREE lunch for college students from 12-1:15.

How In The World Does BCM Do Ministry?

The BCM is supported by local churches in the Bradley Baptist Association and is a ministry of the Executive Board of the Tennessee Baptist Convention.  Tennessee Baptist Churches giving through the Cooperative Program, the Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions, and through the Bradley Baptist Association make this TBC ministry possible.
